Gospel Reflection
Jesus tells stories of laborers in the vineyard: whether they were there from the beginning or only worked these last few hours, they all receive the reward God intends for them. Even if you haven't been to church in a while, it doesn't matter! Come this week and encounter God's love for you.

Warden’s Corner
At our Vestry meeting on September 15, treasure Tammy F reported that our income from pledges had increased in August. Our expenses also increased. It was noted that there will be a 13.5% increase in the cost of diocesan health insurance. Fr. Todd‘s report included notes on our upcoming Stewardship campaign. Paul P.’s Buildings & Grounds report highlighted completed projects including the church steps and a new sump pump in the boiler room. Paul also detailed the steady progress on the smoke detector project. The Vestry approved a new 12-step group rental, and there was discussion on reaching out to the community for other long-term rentals, such as a therapist, business groups in need of meeting space, etc. We are actively planning for the film showing here on November 8 with a donation table and refreshments offered. Fr. Todd noted The temporary loan of a Kawai piano from the library, to be housed in our choir room until library renovations are complete. The tuning, transport, and clearing out of space are all thanks to the generosity of a parishioner. See you Sunday at our Ministry Fair!
