In the Church we are not concerned simply with conveying information or filling heads with facts. We are concerned with forming the whole person to be a follower of Jesus. Thus you will often hear us speak not of “education” but of “formation”: the classes and other activities we offer as we seek to be formed into the image of Christ.
During our Sunday 10am Choral Eucharist we offer Children’s Chapel. This occurs during the read of Scripture and the homily. It is an opportunity for young children to encounter the Word of God in a more age-appropriate manner instead of being asked to sit “while the adults talk.” Children are welcome to remain in the service, or to go to Children’s Chapel. They will return in time to receive Holy Communion with their families.
For adults we offer a Sunday Morning Bible Study (9am) and an Adult Forum (11.30am during the school year) that covers a variety of topics. There is also a lectionary study via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7pm. Other offerings happen seasonally or occasionally.
