So many parables this week! Where to start?
How about with the parable of the mustard seed? One last agricultural illustration. A tiny seed that, planted in the ground, becomes such a large plant that the birds find a home in its branches.
How much faith is required to encounter God, to see God do something amazing in your life? Not much. God's power is so great that the tiniest amount of faith will get the job done. God is at work in your life today; if you choose to notice, you will be amazed by what you see.
Come to St. Luke's this Sunday as we look for God in our lives together.

Hunger doesn’t take summer vacation. - Food Drive
Pease continue donating so we can support First Presbyterian Food bank.
They are experiencing significant shortages during the summer months. This seasonal challenge is exacerbated by increased demand as families seek assistance to replace meals typically provided by school programs. Many children who rely on free or reduced-cost meals during the school year face food insecurity when classes are not in session.

St. Veronica’s Guild
Two members of St. Veronica’s Guild have received awards in the 2026 Middlesex County Senior Art Contest. Rich Doerr received first place in the Professional Photography category for his image “View from the Rialto Bridge". Mark Harris, who with Deb Kmetz organizes St. Veronica’s Guild, received second place for his photograph “Sandrah as a Violin”. Rich’s photograph will now move onto the State contest, later in the year.

Diocesan
The Northern Convocation of the Diocese of NJ will meet at Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford from 10am to noon on Saturday, 10 October. Fr. Andrew Kruger will lead us in a reflection about our Baptism. All Clergy, Convocation Deputies/Delegates and church wardens are expected to attend; everyone is welcome. We will hold our Convocation elections and business during this meeting.
