Connecting you to the events, meetings & services
Gospel Reflection
Behind door #1 are tax collectors and "sinners:" traitors, as their neighbors would identify them.
Behind door #2 is a religious leader mourning the death of his young daughter.
Behind door #3 is a woman bleeding for twelve years.
In one short Gospel reading, Jesus is a physician for all three, meeting them in a time of need.
What is the need that you are carrying around?
Bring it to St. Luke's this weekend. You will find Jesus there to meet you at the altar.

Announcements
Fr. Todd’s announcement
Dear St. Luke's: This past weekend my father-in-law, John Barnhill, died surrounded by family after a long and painful battle with Parkinsons Disease. Thanks to the gifts of this modern life, Becky was able to be with him and her family as he died, and our (adult) children and I will be joining her this weekend for the funeral. I ask your prayers for Becky and for her mom, Janis, as well as her brothers Randy and Charles. In the meantime, Mother Barbara has offered to coordinate any emergency pastoral needs that might arise, and you have two excellent priests providing leadership for this weekend's services. Thank you for the many kind expressions of concern and care you have already offered to our family at this time.
Faithfully,
Todd+

Summer is coming and it's time to install the window unit air conditioners in the classrooms of Fryer Hall. Your muscles are needed!
Please speak to Jim F. or Paul P. if you can help install the A/C's on Saturday, 6 June.
Next weekend, 14 June, Dr. Jolyon Pruszinski, will preach at the 10am service and lead our Adult Forum afterwards. Dr. Pruszinski is an instructor at Princeton University and author of the recently published Anglican Slavery in New Jersey: An Initial Accounting. He is an able, thoughtful, and passionate presenter: come join us as we welcome him.
Join St. Luke’s as we continue this campaign.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have raised $53,845 toward our $70,000 goal; we still have $16,155 to go.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps move us closer to reaching our goal and making this effort a success,
We are deeply grateful for your continued support.
