Announcements

St. Luke’s

Thank you all who already donated!

That means a lot!

We had an amazing response; but we are still accepting donations.
AMANDLA, part of Mission of the First Housing is looking for donations of new or gently used clothes, diapers, diaper cream/ ointment, baby wipes, blankets, baby bottles, etc.. for a young mother to give birth to a baby girl in a couple of weeks.

It would be great and kind to include some postpartum essentials such as ice pack and heating pad, nursing pillow, nursing pads, menstrual pads, etc..
Please bring your donations to church or contact Linda Z.

Friends and Clergy Colleagues,

Grace to you and peace!

Our annual "Rise Against Hunger" event will take place on Saturday, May 16^th at New Dover United Methodist Church, 687 New Dover Road, Edison. Once again we will come together in assembly-line fashion to pack and ship. This year we've increased the number of meals to 40,000, the approximate number of children around the world who die of hunger or malnourishment each and every day. With the cuts in USAID, events such as this are more needed than ever!

Please share the link below with your congregation. Hitting the link on our website will enable them to sign-up. As in the past, we will have two shifts: 9-11 & 12-2.
If you've ever attended a Rise Against Hunger event you know how exciting and fulfilling it is to work in teams to fight hunger!

New Dover United Methodist Church

We are also in the process of collecting the $16,000 needed to pay for the food items we'll be packing. A third of what we raised on our 2025 Hunger Walk goes toward that figure. To help us make that goal, please make checks out to New Dover United Methodist Church and write "Rise Against Hunger" on the memo line. You can also donate through our website.

Thanks as always for you support of this vital work, and hope to see you at New Dover on May 17th!

Peace,
Chuck Coblentz
