Gospel Reflection

This week our Bishop Sally French published, along with 150+ other Bishops of the Episcopal Church, a letter concerning recent events in Minnesota. Please take a moment to read it as together we ask, "Whose dignity matters?

Last week Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe made an appeal to the Episcopal Church to support ministry with migrants.

This Sunday the Diocese of New Jersey and the Episcopal Church invites us to observe Migration With Dignity Sunday.

In our Gospel this week Jesus tells us we are the light of the world. We were created to shine in a dark place and a dark time, offering testimony to the reality of God and God's reign. It is just for such a time as this that we are followers of Christ.

Sunday February 15 at 11:30 Join us for our Pancake Sunday. Traditionally held on the day before Ash Wednesday, pancakes mark the final indulgence before the Lenten fast. Also known as Pancake Day or Mardi Gras, it is rooted in using up rich, fatty ingredients like eggs, sugar, and dairy before the 40-day abstinence of Lent.  We will be serving gluten free and traditional pancakes.  There will be games for adults and children.  Dress up in purple, green and gold.  Let's have some fun!
