Gospel Reflection
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."
"You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Bear fruit worthy of repentance."
I wouldn't choose John the Baptizer to write the texts for my Christmas cards. Why do his words feature so prominently in our preparations for the coming of the Christ child?
Come to St. Luke's this Sunday and let's talk about it.
