Fall 2025 Call for Art: Growing from the Ruins
Crumbled buildings, broken relationships,
nature’s plight, acts of war, shattered lives
may all seem hopeless
until, from the ashes, new growth arises.
Flower bulbs and seeds push forth new growth in spring.
A natural disaster invites the kindness of strangers.
The caterpillar appears dead until the butterfly appears.
Scraps are recycled and used for new creations.
Artists may submit up to 5 pieces* by email to
exhibits@stlukesmetuchen.org (or reply to this email). Images must be named as title_size_medium. In the body of the email, please include your name, address, and phone number with a list of your entries.
*At this time, work created solely with AI is not accepted. All other mediums will be considered.
Entry Deadline: Wed. July 16, 2025
Acceptance notification: Sun. July 20
Artwork Drop-off: Sun. Aug. 24, 11-2 and Tues. Aug. 26, 6-8pm
Opening Reception: Sat. Sept. 13, 2-4pm
Closing Reception: Sun. Dec. 14, 11-12:30 pick-up to follow, 12:30-2
