The majority of the music sung at St. Luke's comes from the Episcopal Hymnal 1982. We supplement that songs from Lift Every Voice and Sing II, as well as from a variety of sources. Songs that are familiar to Roman Catholics, Protestants, and Pentecostals are found throughout. Communion is open to all baptized Christians, regardless of denomination or age.
Children are welcome and encouraged to receive communion. However, we believe in the right of a parent to make the decision as to when their child receives. If you would prefer them to receive a blessing, the proper form is to fold the arms across the chest.
