REQUEST TO ATTEND AN IN-PERSON SERVICE
Requests to attend an in-person Saturday or Sunday Holy Eucharist Worship Service in the Fryer Hall Auditorium, for services beginning on August 1st, are now being accepted. These services will also continue to be live-streamed.
Because we prioritize the health and safety of our community during the continuing COVID -19 pandemic, you MUST complete the Request to Attend an In-Person Service Form by 8 am on the Friday prior to the service. PLEASE do not not come to a service unless you receive an email that your request was granted, it would break our hearts to have to turn you away.
CLICK HERE to complete this form and for more information about what will be expected of all who choose to attend in-person services to keep each other safe.
The majority of the music sung at St. Luke's comes from the Episcopal Hymnal 1982. We supplement that songs from Lift Every Voice and Sing II, as well as from a variety of sources. Songs that are familiar to Roman Catholics, Protestants, and Pentecostals are found throughout. Communion is open to all baptized Christians, regardless of denomination or age.
Children are welcome and encouraged to receive communion. However, we believe in the right of a parent to make the decision as to when their child receives. If you would prefer them to receive a blessing, the proper form is to fold the arms across the chest.
A drop-down list of links to more information about communion and other sacraments at St. Luke's can be found by placing your mouse over "WORSHIP & SACRAMENTS" on the menu bar at the top of this page.
